Read this before relying on anything on this website. Results here are for information only. The official result gazette issued by the organising state government is the only authoritative record, and every prize claim is decided against that document, never against what this website displayed.

1. Accuracy of results
We take considerable care to publish results correctly, and we run automated checks that block publication when a reading looks wrong. Even so, we make no warranty that the numbers on this website are accurate, complete or current at any given moment.
Errors can arise from transmission faults, changes to the format of the official gazette, delays in publication, or plain mistakes. Before acting on any result, and certainly before discarding a ticket, verify it against the official PDF issued by the organising state directorate.
If our page and the official gazette disagree, the gazette is correct. We accept no liability for any loss arising from reliance on a result published here, including a ticket discarded in the belief that it had not won.
2. No affiliation with any lottery authority
Lottery Sambad Result is an independent website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, licensed by, or in any way officially connected to:
- the Government of Nagaland or the Directorate of Nagaland State Lotteries;
- the Government of Sikkim or Sikkim State Lotteries;
- the Government of West Bengal or any other state lottery department;
- any appointed distributor, stockist, sub-stockist or selling agent;
- the Sambad newspaper or its publishers.
Names such as "Lottery Sambad", "Dear Lottery", "Nagaland State Lottery" and "Sikkim State Lottery" are used purely descriptively, to identify the draws whose results we report. All trade marks and rights in those names belong to their respective owners.
3. We do not sell tickets
No lottery ticket can be bought, booked, reserved or won through this website. We hold no stock and take no payment from users for anything.
Dear Lottery is a paper-based lottery sold through licensed physical counters. Any website, app, social media account or individual offering to sell you a ticket online, or offering "confirmed" numbers for a fee, is operating outside the official system, and if it uses our name, it is doing so without permission.
4. Legal status of lotteries
State lotteries in India operate under the Lotteries (Regulation) Act, 1998, which permits individual state governments to organise their own lotteries. Nagaland and Sikkim both do so. However, lotteries are prohibited in a number of Indian states, and the rules differ from state to state.
Whether you may lawfully buy a lottery ticket depends on where you are, not on where the draw is held. Buying, selling, promoting or reselling tickets in a state where lotteries are prohibited is an offence, regardless of the draw itself being lawfully conducted elsewhere. It is your responsibility to know and follow the law that applies to you. Publishing results is not an encouragement to participate, and nothing on this website should be read as advice that participation is lawful in your location.
Participation is restricted to persons aged 18 years and above. This website is not intended for anyone under 18.
5. No financial, legal or tax advice
Nothing on this website is financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and we are not licensed to give any of it. Information about prize amounts, claim procedures, deadlines, documentation or tax deduction is general background that can change without notice.
Buying lottery tickets is not an investment or a savings strategy. For advice on a specific claim, a tax position or your legal situation, consult a qualified professional or the state lottery directorate directly.
6. External links and advertising
This website may link to third-party websites, including official government pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.
This website may display advertising served by third parties. We do not endorse advertised products or services, and we do not control what any given advertisement contains. Any dealings you have with an advertiser are between you and them.
7. Availability
This website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Results depend on the organising state publishing its gazette, and publication can be delayed or suspended for reasons entirely outside our control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for losses arising from downtime, delay or interruption.
8. Fraud warning
Please be careful. Common frauds around lottery results include calls or messages saying you have won a prize you never entered, demands for a "processing fee", "tax", "clearance" or "courier charge" before a prize can be released, requests for your bank details or OTP, and fake claim forms.
A genuine lottery prize never requires an advance payment. Prizes are claimed by presenting the original physical ticket through the official process. We will never contact you to say you have won, and we will never ask you for money, bank details or an OTP. If you receive such a message using our name, please report it to us and to your local police cyber cell.
9. Responsible play
Lottery play carries a real risk of financial loss and can become addictive. The odds against winning the first prize are very long. Please spend only what you can comfortably afford to lose, never borrow money to buy tickets, and do not treat lottery play as a way to solve a financial problem.
If buying tickets is affecting your finances, your work, your sleep or your relationships, please speak to a qualified counsellor, a doctor, or a recognised support service. Talking to someone is a far better step than another ticket.
