About Us
Lottery Sambad Result publishes the daily Lottery Sambad results: the Dear Lottery draws held at 1:00 PM, 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM, for people who want to check a ticket quickly and get on with their day.
We are an independent information service operated by Dhaval Prajapati, a sole proprietorship based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. We have been publishing results since 2026.
What we do
We do one thing: publish the winning numbers accurately and fast. Each draw gets its own section with every prize tier from first prize down to fifth, plus the official result PDF for download. Past results stay online and indexed by date, so a ticket found in a coat pocket a month later can still be checked.
What we don't do
This part matters more than the rest, because a lot of sites in this space blur it.
- We do not sell lottery tickets, and we never will. There is no way to buy, book or reserve a ticket through this website. Anyone claiming to sell you a Dear Lottery ticket online is not connected to us.
- We do not conduct, organise or influence any draw. The draws are run by state government directorates. We only report what they publish.
- We do not take payment from users for results, predictions, "lucky numbers", guaranteed wins, or claim assistance. If someone asks you for money using our name, it is a fraud. Please tell us.
- We are not affiliated with any state lottery directorate, distributor or agent, and we have no relationship with the Sambad newspaper.
Where our numbers come from
Every number on this site is read from the official result gazette published by the organising state government, namely the Directorate of Nagaland State Lotteries for the 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM draws, and the Sikkim State Lotteries for the 6:00 PM draw. We do not copy results from other results websites, because each hop between sites is another chance for a digit to change.
The PDF you download here is the same file the directorate released. We host a copy on our own server so that the download still works when the government site is slow or down, which on result nights it often is.
How we check what we publish
Results are transferred from the gazette automatically rather than typed in by hand, which removes the most common source of error. Every automated reading is then checked against a set of rules before it goes live:
- Each prize tier must contain a plausible count of numbers, and every number must have the right number of digits for its tier.
- The date printed inside the gazette must match the date we are publishing it under.
- The first prize number must not also appear in a lower tier. When it does, the tiers have been misread.
If any check fails, we publish nothing for that draw and flag it for a person to look at. You will see "not yet published" instead of a number. This is deliberate. A wrong winning number is worse than a missing one: it makes someone throw away a real ticket, or send someone to a counter with a losing one. We would rather be five minutes late than wrong.
Corrections
If you believe a number on this site is wrong, please tell us immediately at info@lottery-sambad.net, or through the contact page. Include the date, the draw time and the prize tier. We check every report against the gazette and correct genuine errors as a priority.
Please understand the limit of what a correction can do: the official gazette issued by the state is the only authoritative record. If our page and the gazette disagree, the gazette is right and our page is wrong. No prize claim can ever be made against what this website displayed.
Responsible play
Lottery tickets are entertainment, not an income plan. The odds of the first prize are very long, and the money spent on tickets is money that does not come back. Please only spend what you can comfortably lose, and never borrow to buy tickets.
Participation is for adults aged 18 and over, and only in states where lotteries are legally permitted. If buying tickets has started to affect your finances, your work or your family, please talk to a qualified counsellor or a recognised support service. That is a far better use of a difficult evening than another ticket.
